Open Minds LLC is a dedicated tutoring service offering personalized one-on-one and group instruction for students in grades 6 and up. Guided by our motto, “Expanding Your Mind for Excellence,” we provide the extra support students need to master their coursework and build confidence in their abilities.

We supplement classroom instruction by offering targeted assistance with course material and homework, helping students develop effective study habits and a deeper understanding of key concepts. Specializing in math and science, we are passionate about fostering interest in STEM disciplines, inspiring the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.

About Me

Jana Robins earned both her B.S. and M.S. in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University. With over a decade of experience as a laboratory scientist, she has worked across multiple industries, including public health, chemical, and cosmetic industries. Since 2008, she has been a dedicated private tutor and founded Open Minds LLC in January 2017. Passionate about helping students excel academically, she incorporates biblical principles to inspire confidence, encourage positive thinking, and foster personal growth.
